Product Manager - Freeman Audio Visual - Dallas, TX 

​2014 - 2016

 

  • Created a new rental equipment revenue channel by designing and launching a charging station solution that resulted in over 40 rentals of 4 units within 10 months; increased demand led to the production of 2 additional units

  • Successfully shepherded the Interactive Tech product-line from its inception in 2014 with one client to a viable product offering with multiple and repeat clients by calendar year-end 2015

  • Spearheaded a marketing collateral refresh project to address feedback provided during a recent analysis by an outside consulting firm which indicated the sales team lacked confidence in the products and/or the tools to sell the services. Suggested a 3-phased approach which includes sales training, skill testing and access to updated collateral (pricing, wireframes, case studies and delivery timelines) via a password protected microsite. Developed a budget and delivery schedule which persuaded the VP of AV Brand Marketing to fund 60% of the project with the additional funding provided by the VP of Digital Services

  • Collaborated with the VP of Business Development on the best approach to implement sales training and certification program for Digital Products; suggested reviving existing training modules with strict enforcement from upper management instead of creating new modules; this approach saved the company ~$15K

  • Responsible for making strategic decisions on developing, pricing, promoting and distributing products that fall under the Interactive Technologies umbrella

  • Manages the product life cycle of Social Media, Digital Signage and Interactive Technologies; necessary changes to extend the life of these products

Project Manager - Freeman Audio Visual - Dallas, TX

​2012 - 2014

 

  • Built a business case with financial projections and persuaded the COO to fund $80K annually for a third party Social Media platform.  This resulted in over 150 stand-alone activations each year since 2013 and increased opportunities to upsell other solutions.  There was also an immediate and significant decrease in show-site failures related to API changes with Twitter and Facebook.  Before the new platform the failure rate was approximately 1 in 3 events, since this implementation there have been no reported failures due to API changes and only 2 reported issues related to a failure with the platform.

  • Assessed, gathered and analyzed client's event requirements; created SOW and timeline based on those requirements

  • Developed strong partnerships between the Digital Product Management Team, the Account Managers and our clients

  • Accompanied sales team on client visits to explain digital solutions

  • Oversaw documentation of delivery work flow process
